A quality recording studio nestled in pristine forest on the beautiful NSW south coast.

Our custom built straw-bale facility is surrounded by over 30 acres of spotted gum forest and sub-tropical rainforest. Sanctuary Sound offers multiple acoustically built recording spaces along with the option to stay in our fully self-contained cottage surrounded by forest and wildlife.

We have over 25 years consistent production experience with well over a hundred releases.

Production Values

Our focus at Sanctuary Sound is all about realising the creative visions of our fellow artists. We support the process of bringing out the greatest potential of each composition that best reflects the true character of your songs. Each aspect of the production process from the acoustical spaces, quality of equipment, experience of production and mixing is covered.

Backing Music

Whilst our production aim is to capture your performance as raw and naturally as possible, we are also well equiped and experienced in digital editing techniques and can produce high quality backing arrangements and instrumentation to enhance your compositions up to a release broadcast standard. This production can all be achieved affordably in house.

Creative Design

Sanctuary Sound is much more than just a recording studio. It is also a visual and media design studio that can create CD/DVD artwork, promotional media, video clips, web sites and multimedia content all to professional specification standards for print, disc and the growing forms of online web formats on desktop, tablet and smartphone technologies.
