Flora and Fauna

There is a huge diversity of plant and animal species on the property. This includes a wide variety of ferns, palms, orchids and unique native cedars shown below.

Birdlife

Just step outside and you are treated to a rich chorus of birdlife.

Weed Free

The whole property is pretty much free of exotic weeds and kept as indigenous native plants apart from some broader native species around the house/studio.

Sanctuary

The property is not used for exotic food production but maintained as a wildlife sanctuary although there are many varieties of edible fruits and herbs growing naturally on the property including Native Raspberries, Lilly Pilly and many other medicinal plants.

At night it is extreemly peaceful and quiet apart from the distant sounds of owls and nocturnal animals.

Wildlife

Echid These include wallabies, echidnas, bandicoots, sugargliders, yellowbellied gliders to name a few.

We are priverlidged to listen to the wonderous sound of Lyrebirds almost every day which often appear close by.
